Remote Work for the company in Japan from Netherlands

Post new topic

Itat

Hello, I am Japanese and I work for the IT company in Japan. I pay taxes to Japan.

While working for the company, I am currently attending an MBA course (weekday evenings and weekends) at a Japanese university and will be living in the Netherlands from August as an exchange student. (It will be Student VISA in Netherlands.)

I would like to do remote work for the current company from Netherlands, but is there a legal problem? I have looked on the web and there are past cases, but my company is not allowed me based on the legal reasons. Is the student VISA an obstacle? I heard the VISA in Netherlands doesn't matter.

If I get an official proof that I can legally work from Netherlands, I can share with my company.

Any information to the situation above would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Ita
