Unfortunately, Afghans are not on the list that allows them to get a VOA and Indonesia also does not issue visas to Afghans for the purpose of tourism. Single visit visas are only issued to Afghans for the purpose of official government activities, social and cultural activities, sport, business and commercial activities. You are likely to experience problems. Indonesia is very open to tourists from richer nations as they tend to spend a lot of money.

If you're from a nation not known for big spending, but may be considered an overstay danger, nobody is going to make life easy for you.
