@NechadTahar first question, where did you get married in Romania or in Abroad? Does your wife registered your married already in Romania? You have to option, visit visa or reunification visa... if you opt for a visit visa, your wife need to send you invitation letter with sponsorship if she intend to sponsor your visit or stay in Romania and if you opt for reunification visa, you can check in Romanian immigration website all the requirements. If you want to come soonest, you can opt for visit visa for atleast 3 months so you have time to process here in Romania your permit to stay...

@NechadTahar First question, where did you get married, here in Romania or abroad, thus your married already registed here in Romania?

If already registered, you have two options come with visit visa or reunification visa. If you opt for a visit visa, ask your wife to send you invitation letter with sponsorship if she intend to sponsor your stay here in Romania, she need to send you the invitation letter, copy of house title/contract under her name and bank certificate. If no sponsorship, she can just send you the invitation letter and you will provide all other documents. Requirements for either Visit visa or reunification visa can be obtain in Romania Immigration website. You need atleast 3 months short term visa in order for you to have time to process your permit to stay here in Romania without going outside or travelling back to your origin. If you opt for reunification visa, it's a bit long process...

If not yet registered, you have only option but to come by visit visa.

Goodluck!

Thanks,

Mha

Some problems with your advice I'd like to point out. If his purpose of travel is to immigrate and remain in Romania with his family, he needs to apply for D/VF Family Reunification visa. He is not simply "visiting" his family, which is what a C/VV Visit Visa is aimed towards.  2nd, with the Visit Visa, you say he needs at least 3 months (which is usually an accurate estimate); well a C/VV visa is short-term, meaning the maximum validity is 90 days (3 months) and cannot be extended. Again, this is why the Family Reunification visa is better suited. Regardless, the marriage needs to have been registered or transcribed in Romania in order to obtain a residence permit, a visit visa changes nothing according to the law.

Reference: Note the portion which states:  "Short-stay visa entitles you to visit Romania for a limited time and cannot be extended. If you want to stay for a longer period of time in Romania, you must obtain a long-stay visa and subsequently a residence permit in Romania."

NechadTahar, you need to apply for the Family Reunification visa, not a short stay visit visa.  You asked similar questions a few years ago, have you not lived with your "family" all this time??  If so, you may have struggles getting a residence permit as you must prove that your marriage is a bonafide marriage and not just one of convenience.
