Hi, I have an appointment booked in London VFS. I'm applying for the D7 visa, if I'm lucky enough to be accepted, my wife will be travelling to Portugal with me in the hope to get residency via reunification. My question is, would she be given an appointment at SEF, from VFS, or would she need to make an appointment herself once in Portugal. If she has to make an appointment herself is she restricted to the 90/180 day rule.

Hi Nick, Welcome.

It's not like you say here...

D6 family reunification process is initiated by you once you have obtained your residence permit. Once you are in Portugal, you will need to make an appointment at SEF to apply for this visa for your wife.
