How can I send additional document after applying for citizenship

Post new topic

When I submitted my document for application for citizenship, at the commune they only took my income statement from my previous job which covers the period mid 2018 to first quarter of 2022.

When I asked the man why he gave me back the recent payslips from mid 2022 to July 2023 he told me that the ones he took (2018 to 2022)  were sufficient.

I am currently worried about it and now I am thinking if it is possible to submit the recent payslips to the government office directly or should I go to commune and insist they forward it to the responsible office?

AlexFromBelgium

yes and no.

Payslips are interested for the immigration, because they don't have access to SPF finance, but what really matter is the yearly tax revenue.

You can always come back to the commune and ask to add these files, but well, they're aware that you're working already & continue working.

Honestly, in your case, I would have force the guy to pick all the documents and send it "AS-IS", but that shouldn't be an issue for you (as long as you have a stable job, enough money, blablabla, you know the story)

Alex thanks alot for the response.

The problem is with the commune is that each time you go there you get a different answer.

My problem is that will the immigration office check my current employment status if yes then I don't have to worry?

But I have heard that most times they do not go digging for information they only work with what has been presented to them.

Do you still think it is wise to contact the commune and ask them send in the additional document?

@AlexFromBelgium Dear! I got positive decision on 9th august. Its been more than two weeks but I didn't receive call for passport collection. I visited vfs global office byt they said tmyour passport is still in embassy. My friends receive call even after my decision but i didn't. Is there any problem? How much should i wait more? Other candidates got decision on 19 august and receive call within two days. Kindly assist me.

@woodcook honestly, they can deny new additional documents if not provide from the beginning...

If the request fail, you'll """just""" do a new request. Sad but reality...

@Nabeel contact the commune

@AlexFromBelgium Thank you very much. I will just have to wait it out.
