Hi Ahmed,

That's very kind of you. Not everyone here is willing to say thank you, some just have time to ask...

Perhaps this PDF answers your question. It's in english and it's from the PT Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

https://vistos.mne.gov.pt/images/scheng … ers_en.pdf

Your short-stay visa allows you to travel to […..] and usually to other Schengen States. But it

does not automatically entitle you to enter the Schengen area. So you may have to provide

certain information at border or other controls. You may, for instance, have to provide

information on your means of support, how long you intend to stay in […], and why you are

visiting […]. In some cases, such checks may result in a refusal for the visa holder to enter

[…] or the Schengen area.

It is therefore recommended that you carry with you copies of the documents which you

presented when you applied for the visa (e.g. letters of invitation, travel confirmations,

other documents stating the purpose of your stay). This will help to make the border control procedure easier and avoid delays at the border.

As for your second question, it would be better if someone else could help you, as I'm not sure.

Best Regards

@Ahmed,

As a digital nomad, you must have a document certifying your tax residence (i.e. that address must be linked to your NIF at the tax office). This could be a tenancy agreement, proof that you live in an AirBnB, a co-living space, rent a room, etc.

https://vistos.mne.gov.pt/en/national-v … tal-nomads

Your lease ended in September, so you need to find somewhere to live temporarily and prove it when you go for your SEF interview in October. Don't forget that this address must be your fiscal address associated with your NIF. Once you have found another place to live, you must change your new address at AT Finanças and then inform SEF of your new address as well.

Visas for digital nomads do not require you to have a tenancy agreement, unlike other types of visas.

@JohnnyPT Thank you ver much. If need change address in NIF for new address in AT Finanças, it takes how much time? Should I take appointment or go directly visit them.

Secondly here in Shanghai consulate asked for tenancy contract or lease when I have applied visa.

@Ahmed,

1 - It's easy to change your fiscal address at AT. But first, you should make an online appointment here, by choosing office, day and time to be attended in person, and the subject to be covered as well:

https://sitfiscal.portaldasfinancas.gov.pt/ebalcao/apm

2. These accommodation rules differ a lot between consulates. Still, you can check with your consulate to see if a coliving space is accepted or not. Try to find out from them, because this varies a lot between consulates. What is accepted by one is not for another...

@ all Good day. Again here need little more things to ask.

Normally on Schengen visa, they mention visite Schengen. in digital nomad visa they mentioned valid for Portugal, validity 120 days.

So by this way if I take flight via any other schengen country transit or staying there 2-3 days ok?

Because passport will br stamp on first Schengen  entry point. In visa application form they mentioned  first entry point Portugal.

if any person traveled on transit or connecting flight on  digital nomad visa.

kindly advise.

Best regards;
