HI,

I am looking to relocate myself and my daughter to Gibraltar.

My daughter is 10 and about to start primary school. I would like to continue to stay in a school in which english is the first language. I have remote working job, which means I work from home all the time.

Would I be able to continue working for a UK company and still be able to move to Gibraltar? I understand I would need residency in Gib to send my daughter to school. But how would it work with health care and tax? I would contact the right authority but am a little stuck on who I should speak to find out the answers for my queries.

You can continue working for the UK company but then you would need to pay health care costs in Gibraltar yourself and you could not send your child to a Gibraltar public school. You would need private school.

You can send your daughter to school in Gibraltar and get medical care if you moved to Gibraltar and worked for a Gibraltar company , or set up your own company in Gibraltar (costs around 300-500 pounds a month). You could then subcontract from your Gibraltar company to a UK company. Thats the only way I can think of.

Why would they have to send them to a private school and not a state one?
