You need a Class D/D1 licence to carry more than 8 passengers; if you have a UK licence for that, then that is still valid, for example, if you use a minibus type of vehicle and use it as "own use" without charging any passengers.  What I think you are asking is can you work as a bus driver in Bulgaria?  The answer will lay in the Operating LIcence restrictions that the Bulgarian government places on how they run their fare-paying operations, ie. do they require bus drivers to speak Bulgarian, do they need 1st aid training, as part of the EU, they will have Driver CPC requirements which will almost certainly be in Bulgarian.  I do know that driver CPC training in most EU countries is taken much more seriously than it ever has in the UK.
