MEDICAL FOLLOW UP

zoldyckvalinda

Hi! I came across here because of my curiosity of the "what ifs" in every situation so I can be prepared mentally and physically of what to expect or closer to it.

I am a first timer in Dubai and just got a Job after 7 months of job hunting. Unfortunately, my medical was not smooth as everyone does, I was advised to do a medical follow up. My PRO asked if I do have history of TB I said I don't have since way back in the Philippines I was working in a BPO field and we also have this tests done and all were normal results. My PRO said that we have to go back for a follow up because there is something on my x-ray like dots he said. When we go back for the said medical follow up, they didn't do a retest for chest x-ray instead they collect more blood sample from me. After that, I was referred to go to another building and then when we go there the doctor took my passport and type something on his computer, after that he said that I can leave and wait for the results tomorrow. Since then, until now I'm still waiting for a result. Wat are my chances for a fit to work and if I fail will they give me time to prepare to packed stuff and leave if I will be deported? Thank you in advance for those who can answer or say something that knows my situation.

I have answered these types of questions hundreds of times.  I would advise that for one, you browse the threads instead of posting same question on multiple ones and secondly, stop worrying about something that is not in your control. What is going to happen will happen.

@XTang I just got my results now and it said in my medical I was infected with HIV/AIDS, I have no idea and I did not expect this results, is this really legit result after they did a confirmatory test? Or is this a false positive HIV results. I am really worried right now. I don't know what to do.

XTang

Of course, it's legit if they did a confirmatory test. Don't get your question.

@zoldyckvalinda hello brother, very sad to hear about you. But dont worry, now the disease js easily controlled by medicines. Rest regarding the uae visa, i am sad about it. They will not accept you now. But there are a lot of countries that dont care about it, and its normal there.

@Bakmrktt right now I need someone who has the same situation with me of what are the process are they going to detained me first and deport or can I voluntarily leave the country since I also need to get a 2nd opinion and test in my country for this and will take medicine if ever.

XTang

If you have not been detained, just cancel your visa and leave ASAP.  The process keeps changing but generally nowadays they don't detain, just deport.  However, I would urge you to leave before that because if you get deported then you will never be able to enter UAE, even on a tourist visa.

@XTang Thank you for your reply. I will leave this country in the span of 5 days I think as my PRO said thr cancellation process will take time. I don't have any reason to stay here anymore I just want to go home and will make a second opinion and will do an immuno test, they say due to Pfizer vaccines sometimes we get a false positive test results.

Do a normal HIV test with a western blot PLUS do a Pcr.
