Moving to Dresden

Post new topic

My husband and I are hoping to move from CYprus to Dresden in May 2013.  Lots to do.  We need to know about renting a place there and the best way to go about it.  I know that if we go through estate agents they can be very expensive.  We are visiting Dresden next year to sort one or two things out.  My husband also needs to find a good English speaking doctor as he does not speak German (I do) and also the name of a reliable lawyer.  Any offers of help greatly appreciated.  Rupertmou:)

Hi Rupertmou,

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

You should have a look at this article: Accommodation in Germany. There are information and useful links that might help you in your accommodation search. You may post an advert in the Dresden classifieds > accommodation section as well. :)

I wish you good luck

Hi CHristine,

Thanks for that and the speedy response.  Will let you know how we get on.  I do have family in Dresden and I love the place.  Been going there for a long time and feel it is time to move on from Cyprus.
