Driving in PP or anywhere is taking your life to the extreme, people only drive to avoid the one in front, at some lights some stop some don't, filter lights mean nothing, level crossings they drive around you, they park on crossroads stop anywhere including the middle of the road, they have little road sense go up one way streets the wrong way, the only good thing in PP is they can't go that fast as it's to congested, in mornings and evenings it's like snails crawling up the road, why ever would you want to ride a moto in PP, then you have to find a place to park it, it has to be a new registered Cambodian vechical or they will impound it, if you have a crash it will be your fault whatever, if you don't ware a helmet they will fine you, tuk tuk and Moto taxi much more stress free, 7 years of being in PP never bothered with a bike or a car,

I am used to drive motorbike in Vietnam and Cambodia, including Phnom Penh, but that's not what I asked 😂

I recall a foreigner taking a test for a big motorbike he had a full drivers licence to drive a big bike in the UK, and did the test three times in Cambodia and failed each time, his view in the end was it's just a way of examiners making money, seeing the way people act on motorbikes in the city and on national roads a big bike would be a liability, a 125 cc is enough, so good luck with the exam buddy.

Thats rubbish, you don't need to tip anyone. There is a charge for the test, it is a standard fee, from memory about $100. Noone else gets any money. If you want to tip people thats up to you, but it is really not necesssary.

@toni345th If someone has a full license from another country they don't need to do the test. They can transfer their overseas license to a Cambodia license at the office in Aeon Mall.

Mike CL

Best option to transfer if you have a license, you only need a resident status, you get at the Police station in your area and a health certificate, If you need to make a license, talk with a local friend and get a referral, if get good service can give a tip.

@hdgh

I didn't say tip the guy paid for the test but failed 3 times after that I don't know what he did, that was his story,

narcrepellant2525

I failed my theoretical exam I think 4x in my country, while practical was at  home after 1st attempt. I guess I was lazy to read the material for theoretical exam, I was not serious, just 17 years old. More interested in drinking booze, beer and hanging around beaches and of course playing football!
