I first came to Oman on the 14th of May, 1991.
It was a new experience for me, right from Carter Road in Bandra to Wadi Kabir in Muscat.
It was difficult for a 25 year old to adjust from the colorful life of Bandra to the hot and arid surroundings of Wadi kabir.
3 months were difficult to pass, the work culture and friendly people around helped me in settling down. I was in good company, officially as well as personally. After a year it was love with Oman, the culture, traditions, the friendly people of Oman made me stay almost 20 years. I left finally in 2015 and settled in Mumbai, India.
I feel Oman is my second home.
September, 2023 I returned to Muscat after 8 years to start a business. I feel like I never left Oman.
