legally importing equipment

rnbtg

I am looking to buy some light farm machinery from china basically because nothing equivalent exists in Brazil but for obvious reasons I'm worried it'll never arrive. Paying the taxes isn't a problem, it's still worth it. I saw aliexpress now automatically will include taxes. Anyone have experience with this?

You have to make an account with the Correios app. you will see the status by placing the tracking number. it will show you if you have to pay a fine. always track your product.

No, it's "Minhas Importações".  While it's on the Correios page, you can trace any international shipment coming to you there once you set up an account (which is free), as long as it has a tracking number.  Once you link the tracking number to your CPF, you're in business.  If you owe taxes or postal charges, you can print out the boleto, pay it through your bank, and the payment usually shows up the next day on the site and the shipment is released.
