Moving to Vietnam

I am 74 and in good health. Would you recommend moving from USA to Vietnam.

Thinking of moving to Vietnam from USA. I'm 74 and in good health. Any advice. ?

Welcome to the forum.

There are numerous elderly gentlemen expats living in Vietnam and throughout most of Southeast Asia, so it is certainly possible.

A lot of general info can be found here on these pages of the expat.com website:

Sure.

You have my official recommendation.

With only about $130,000.00 USD to invest (currently $123,305.00 USD plus lawyer's fees and "contributions" to various officials, plus a nice, comfortable business class ticket & moving expenses) it will be be a fairly simple process to get a renewable 3 year Temporary Resident Card for investors.

Especially since you've already visited Việt Nam numerous times and you aren't likely to be surprised about anything here.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you there's no such thing as a retirement Visa here

I just described it to you...
