I don't live there or plan to live there, but saw an interesting article on Dubai today and wondered if anyone here felt similarly to anyone in the article or had another perspective on it.

The article has some truth, many untruths, many questionable statements. For example, no-one lives at the airport as the article claims - can you imagine security at any airport in the world allowing people to live there? No-one lives in the desert either, there aren't even any Bedouin living out there!
