Hello,

I am a Canadian who will be moving to Kenya hopefully in 2024, dep

My partner is Kenyan so I am moving to be with him and we intend to get married after I’ve settled in.

He lives in Embu county so that’s where I’ll be residing.

Hi,

I'm Kebra. I and Goldie my wife and our children Lucaia, Donarskyy and Mofaia intend moving towards the mountains as the floods seem imminent on Nairobi. Also we've always wanted our children to attend Mt Kenya Academy but they're still too young for secondary education. We intend to learn where best to secure accommodation and either a good primary school to enroll them but would best prefer a platform for homeschooling which we're presently oblivious about. Perhaps we can be aided on here. Cheers to all!

Hello

all,

It's been a pleasure to join your community.

I'm Sudanese girl, moved to Nairobi almost more than three months ago.

I'm unemployed, looking for a job so if you guys have advices on how to find it the soonest the possible, it would be highly appreciated by me as it's considered like my life saving.

At the same time, do you think: you can help me to locate a one bedroom flat in Nairobi before beginning of June?

Note:

I'm open minded so if shared place is an option, I would go for it

Looking forward to receiving your response hopefully soon.

Kind regards,

HRJune

@Julien My name is Ebony. I am a single part of 2 making my way overseas. I pray we can stay and overcome every obstacle that is already very apparent. I am a teacher, Chaplain, insurance agent, and commercial driver by trade. Yet none of those can support us here. We found a place to lay low (affordable) and be quiet (outside city). Thank God for affordable good food, utilities included and small group bible studies. My 2 teens and I arrive end of August and I trust God that I will find work in 3 months time so we don't have to leave every 90 days. Bless you all. We'll be in Syakimau. I won't give up. Ill grab an ESL gig online as soon as we arrive to tide us over. I want my children to see the beauty all around them.

Matt

@Julien hi I'm not living there but thinking about visiting but wanted to get some advice because I have been dating a woman from kenya online for 2 months

Hi, we just moved here from the UK to Kenya. We are currently in temporary accommodation and are looking for a more permanent house/apartment suited for a family of four in the Karen area. If anybody would be able to help that would be great
