My husband and I are interested in moving to Sri Lanka. We are British citizens, my husband works in soft commodities and I work in digital advertising.
We are interested in becoming residents in Sri Lanka for 5 to 10 years.
We are interested in tourism and also the burgeoning coffee industry.
It would be great to engage your services to help us.
My husband and I are coming out to Sri Lanka in February for 3 weeks. This is a pre visit before we hope to move to Sri Lanka in November 2024.

Golden visa it should be. 10 years and you can use your money that you anyhow gonna use.
Sri Lanka's Golden Visa program, known as the Golden Paradise Visa, offers long-term residence options for foreign investors. To be eligible for this program, individuals need to meet certain investment criteria:
1. **Golden Paradise Visa**: This visa is available for a duration of up to 10 years. To qualify, individual investors are required to open a Golden Paradise-specific bank account and deposit a minimum of USD 100,000 in a local bank licensed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. After the first year, it's possible to withdraw up to USD 50,000, provided that a minimum balance of USD 50,000 is maintained in the account for the remainder of the visa's validity***
2. **Investment in Condominium Property**: Another option for a long-term visa, ranging from five to ten years, is available for directors of companies and their dependents who invest at least USD 75,000 in condominium property in Sri Lanka***
3. **Foreign Nationals Over 60**: There is also a provision for foreign nationals over the age of 60 who have a monthly income of at least USD 20,000. They are eligible for a 10-year visa under this program***

These new visa programs reflect Sri Lanka's effort to attract foreign investment and promote foreign exchange in the country. As with any visa or investment program, it is advisable to check the most current information and consider consulting with officials.
