Family reunification with EU citizen (non Belgian) process in Brussel

Hi everybody,

So I came to brussel from a non eu country with a type c visa. I went to schaerbeek commune (in Brussel) to apply for f card. But they told me that first I need to change my address and this process needs to be done online. Anyway I did it. Normally they have to give me an appointment according to the introductory. But so far I havent heard anything from them. On the same page I have also read that this process can take up to 3 months before they send my files to foreigner office.

Is this normal? What are the steps that we should take?

to be honest the people who works are the commune barely speak english, and they are not very open to share information.
