Public transportation in Mississauga

Post new topic

Armand

Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Mississauga ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Mississauga?

Thanks in advance for participating!

Transportation in Mississauga is not the greatest, but it is pretty good.  The transit system (buses only) runs every day, and connects the city to the subway station in Toronto.  You are also able to get to a few destinations in Brampton, Oakville and Toronto depending on which bus you take.
GO transit is also available in Mississauga.  This transit is throughout the greater toronto area, and it connects many city.

Mississauga Transit ( mississauga.ca/portal/miway ) is currently $3.00 going up to $3.25.  Toronto transit is the same.  GO transit ( gotransit.com/publicroot/en/default.aspx ) prices vary depending on the zone you are travellling in.

I use Mississauga transit every day in order to get to school, and it is relatively safe.

I know this is a late reply, but I though I would reply anyways. :)
