Assessing living in Chiang Mai

Post new topic

Eddym

G’day from Oz.

A bit of a profile to start with.  I’m an Aussie male married to a Thai, now for 15 years.

i/we plan to spend a 3 month break (say jun, jul & aug this year), assessing whether I could live in Thailand, permanently.  Ages: im 81, my wife 57.  I’d like to start with living in Chiang Mai & then, perhaps, moving to Chiang rai…. to compare both areas.

looking for any hints, tips, suggestions you might have please.  Thought I’d start here.

With thanks,

Eddy
