hello everyone, i want to know the process of converting visit visa to work visa is it still possible in bahrain?

logicalindian

Yes it's still doable, get in touch with your employer.

XTang

Only if the visit visa is from the same employer that is giving you the work visa.

@XTang thanks for replying, so it's will not convert in work visa because i have diffrent  sponser for my visit visa?

XTang

That's the change that was announced. Last week. So no one can say right now what will happen. But don't expect much as they changed this to prevent all those job seekers who would buy visit visas, undercut the market and then convert.

Can anyone please guide me regarding conversion of Evisa to work visa, as to what is the current scenario?

In my case, i am on vist, overstayed, 200bd fine is on me.

Further i have without sponser visa and i know even that with sponser visa, you gotta pay 250bd.

I have an offer letter and they want a valid visa from me.

Moreover i got to know the rule might be ammended by 5 march.

What is the best possible move in my current scenario?

logicalindian

You overstayed, its a very costly mistake you made. Unfortunately they will reject your work visa applicatin is you apply for one.

@XTang  one of my friends got converted just today, the sponser was diffrent then in visit visa but the fees was 250 bd

logicalindian

Thanks for the update.
