Brazil Investor Visa for 600,000 / RN 11

guerneca

I'm researching this investor visa option implemented by RN 11 that allows for a business to sponsor a foreign director with an investment of 600,000 reais. This seems to eliminate any need for a business plan to be approved and also eliminates a need to hire any number of employees.

I'm wondering if anyone here has gone through this process, either successfully or unsuccessfully and could share some details on how it works. Does it enable citizenship after 4 years? How long does it take and how difficult is the entire thing?

Thanks. For some reason I'm not being notified of the new replies. Anyway I created this thread to focus solely on this visa because the other thread got too big. But we can keep the conversation there if you prefer. Fine either way.
