I am in my second year here with temporary residency visa. I will shortly be going to the UK for a week and I am unsure what I need to do at immigration when I leave and come back.

As I still do not have my biometric id card do I just need to show my ARC along with the receipt when I present my passport to show I am resident.

I used a copy of the arc and UK passport and my other half did the same when we were in and out in Nov and dev 2023. As I was near the renewal I also had a copy of the email appointment with immigration. If you are in the second year and still not go the card it looks like you might need to make your own lol

Mine expires in April. Got an appt with Immigration for renewal in March and will travel soon after that.

No problem with just your receipt as they just use ref number
