Missed SEF Appointment: Reapplying for D7 Visa

Post new topic

Mrt2

Hi,

We obtained the D7 visa in 2022. The SEF appointment was scheduled 9 months after our initial entry date. After moving to Portugal and living there for a few months, we had to move back due to unfortunate circumstances, such as health issues and financial problems. Consequently, we missed our SEF appointment and did not secure residency. Now, we wish to apply anew. Could our initial experience negatively impact this new application? We already have a NIF and a bank account.

Has anyone applied for a second time? I'd be happy to hear about your experience.

Thank you for the answer. We are currently outside of Portugal and believe we should start a new application to obtain the visa from scratch.

it depends the delegation in diffrent regions. once you went to the previous place and now you like to apply again, so, may be you need to wait a long time for your procedures.
