Hello EveryOne,

I was seeking help for the following case: I have been working in Belgium since April 2021 and its uninterrupted but at one stage my address in the commune was removed , but after 2.5 months i restored my address in the same apartment, my card was not cancelled or expired.

does it mean that my residence is interrupted ?

How your address got removed?

well, i wasn't aware about address removal laws, i was going to Pakistan, I left the flat and was planning to get a new one upon my return , but when i received message from police about my address removal then i came back and restored address in the same apartment

This can be problematic for Nationality as it can be seen is interruption in main residence. Not sure about PR.

You can have interuption of upto 6 months if annouced. Best to take an extract of your residence history, check with the commune, if that gets too complicated have a review with a lawyer.

would be a pity - if you only found out when you apply for pr and nationality that you need to wait further.

Thank you for your reply, and good point for taking residency history.
