Prescription Medication

Both my wife and myself wish to retire in Mauritius.  However we are both on prescription based medication in the UK.  We have arranged medical insurance with Swan medical, but how do we go about arranging to continue our prescription medication in Mauritius? Thank you for any help or advice.

@T?Wey

we retired here last sept

here you can get most things over the counter but a consult with doctor is £30 and next day where you can get prescription's and then take to pharmacy we are with sygner and opted to pay for meds but i think it will depend on your agreement .

@BowcoH Are they really called "sygner"? Or do you mean "Cigna"?

By the way: another problem could be that many medicines are not available in Mauritius. 1f644.svg
