Jobs for American RN part time?

Or not.

I believe to work in Italy you have to be fully conversant in Italian, both written and spoken, be resident and have your qualifications translated into Italian and notarized, for the authorities to evaluate and even then you may be required to do a competence course, this is unsure.

Talking to qualified Italian nurses would be advantageous to discover the actual requirements.

However I am aware of a UK registered nurse who hires herself out privately through word of mouth and advertising to give injections, change dressings, do night shifts to help families sleep as they care for someone during the day, etc and for someone who doesn't speak ''medical Italian'' it is a comfort to have an English speaker help with medications and treatments. If you are considering this option I would urge you to get insurance cover.
