The Premium Visa Programme (PVIP) is a groundbreaking residency program designed by the Home Ministry in Malaysia; it offers an enticing opportunity for individuals seeking long-term residency in Malaysia. With an initial 20-year visa, participants have the option to extend for another 20 years. Those enrolled in PVIP will enjoy the same rights as a Permanent Resident of Malaysia. This program is open to individuals of all ages and presents several key benefits.


ATTRACTIVE FEATURES OF PVIP:

  • No Age Limit: Open to individuals of all ages.
  • Flexible Stay Requirements: No minimum physical stay requirements.
  • Work and Business Activities: Allowed to work and conduct legal business activities in accordance with Malaysian laws.
  • Educational Opportunities: Allowed to study in Malaysia.
  • Real Estate Ownership: Permitted to purchase real estate for residential, commercial, or industrial purposes.
  • Investment Opportunities: Allowed to conduct active investments in permitted fields.
  • Accompanying Dependents: Participants can be accompanied by dependents such as spouse(s), child(ren), parent(s), in-law(s), and one foreign domestic helper.


PVIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS (for main applicant):

  • Investment: Pledge a local fixed deposit placement of RM 1,000,000 with a licensed bank in Malaysia.
  • Proof of Foreign Income: Provide proof of offshore income of at least RM 40,000 monthly or RM 480,000 annually.
  • Letter of Good Conduct: Provide a letter of good conduct from the authority of the country the Principal Applicant is currently residing in.
  • Medical: Submit a medical report from any private hospital or registered clinic in Malaysia, and proof of valid local medical insurance coverage.


PVIP GOVERNMENT FEES:

  • PRINCIPAL PARTICIPATION FEE RM 200,000 (One-Off)
  • DEPENDANT PARTICIPATION FEE RM 100,000 (One-Off)
  • PASS FEE RM 2,000 (Per Year)
  • VISA FEE Based on Existing Rates by Country (Per Year)
  • SECURITY BOND Based on Existing Rates by Country (One-Off)

  • Copy Of Principal Applicant Passport (and of all accompanying dependents)
  • Copy Of Marriage Certificate (if your spouse(s) is accompanying as a dependent)
  • Copy Of Child's Birth Certificate (for each child who is accompanying as a dependent)
  • Letter Of Good Conduct (original copy)
  • Proof Of Foreign Income (bank statement/s)
