Dear Mohpah,

Welcome to the forums of Expat.com ....

Peru is extremely lenient in permitting overstays,

so even if you overstay for a month or two,

it will probably incur an overstay fine of a

dollar or two a day, easily payable at the Lima airport.

However, if you stay for more than 183 days out of

any 365, Peru may deem you a tax resident and

impose income taxes on any income received

outside of Peru.

Consult an immigration expert in Peru or an

immigration attorney there, especially if you

intend to marry.  An expert may provide

advice gratis for your first email if you have a

simple question.   Otherwise, book an hour of

consultation.

Do you think they will allow me too go inside peru even if 60 days

cccmedia

Based on what you have written, and provided

that you have substantial days remaining out of

180, I don't see any reason you would be denied

entry.  I would confirm in advance with the nearest

consulate or embassy of Peru rather than relying

on the layperson Expats who populate this forum.

CCC is right.  We are just giving our opinions and you do not want to rely on it for this. :-)

Mohpa6

@trentgh7 i know but it for me because i cant contact the imigration from here. I also tried talkin to the consulate  but they did not understand me.

Given the extra complexity of your apparent situation,

meaning your fiancée. it's time to consider contacting

a visa expert or immigration attorney.  I realize you are

from the Netherlands and your native language may be

neither Spanish nor English, complicating your search

for a multi-lingual expert.

The time-worn saying applies .. where there's a will

there's a way.

It should be borne in mind that the normal tourist entry is 90 days in any 180.

As ccc says, Peru tend to be quite flexible and I usually overstay a few days or weeks each year.

However there is now a little office in the immigration exit lounge at Lima Airport for you to pay your fine which is based on number of excess days.

Going back into the country when your overstay is still current, involves smiling and ideally having some sort of reason.  And your passport needs to be at least 180 days before expiry as well.
