Xiaomi Phones in Brazil

Post new topic

Two guys at my neighborhood phone service shop recommended Xiaomi to replace my iPhone X.

Xiaomi rather than the Brazilian favorite Samsung or the Moto that worked well for me some years ago?

I’m thinking I don’t need to spend more than R$1.000 on a phone.

Thanks for any advice.

Xiaomi is fine.  This second generation of Chinese smart phones are way better than the previous one.

Xiaomi is not under the sanctions that dragged Huawei, or so I've been told.

At R$ 1,000, it depends on your plan.  I got me a Samsung 5G, as I had been on the plan for long, and some rebates were offfered. Cash purchase, unlocked.

You buy based on likely use.

A light user who needs a simple phone for Whatsapp, a bit of reading the news, or maybe Google maps now and again will be fine with a lower end phone.

I need Samsung DeX and an S-pen so I don't buy Chinese or iphone
