I recently left my role after 2 years and finding it difficult to find a new position - not as easy as expected.

I live in the Uster area.

My wife is still employed and working, although its suggested it is possible for me claim some form of unemployment benefit. At 80% of my previous salary (capped)

Can anyone assist who has been in the same position?

Is an assessment made on a) Income of the whole family - so wife income too? b) years in country c) valid work permit duration d) terms of leaving previous employment d) balances in my account / wealth

I am a complete novice on this one!
