Coming to Japan

I will be signing a three year contract to work in Okinawa starting in October and wanted to know if anyone here lives or frequently visits there. I have never been to the country, or the Far East, so it should be a fun and interesting first few weeks. Feel free to say hi or pass along any tips that might be helpful about the island. Thanks.

Hi!

I've been to Tokyo back in 2004 and I enjoyed it a lot.

Okinawa is a remote island far to the south, but I've never been there before. I'm thinking of going there in the summer maybe.
