Hi all, just wondered what the best bet is to find a job over there, my partner has accepted a job offer in Grand Baie so we will be relocating soon. My work background is mainly construction and landscape gardening. I am handy with tools in my hand. Not looking for anything crazy paid as I just wish to get my foot in the door and find my bearing over there. If anyone could point me in the right direction, or knows anyone needing something of the sorts that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello and welcome !

Mauritius gives priority to local employment and the jobs you have listed are mainly performed by locals. I am not even sure the basic salaries in this field reach the 30 000 MUR required for an OP (occupation permit). It will all depend at what hierarchy level you are going to work.

Try to create your CV in the Jobs in Mauritius section and browse through platforms such as myjob.mu, careerhub, LinkedIn and even reach out to recruitment agencies in Mauritius
