Living in Al Hasa with family

Hello Everyone,

I am very new to Saudi Arabia and moved to Al Hasa for my job. I am here in this forum to know more on the following for me to plan and adapt with city of AL Hasa.

1) Can we use public transport to move round AL Hasa city ?

2) As i am planning to bring my family with 2 kids once my Iqama is processed ,I am interested to know on the schooling aspects related to british schools or Indian schools.

3) I Heard there are student going to schools in dahran / dammam daily from Al Hasa. Is it true , seems to be a long 150 kms of travelling for the kids. Or can we stay in abqaiq?

4) How is the social life in Al Hasa for an expat family?

5) Which are the good apartment or compounds in Al Hasa for an expat family?
