Dependent to work visa transfer process

Post new topic

yasara1993

Hi, Currently I'm in BH under dependent visa. My CPR is in the process. I received a job offer and will be starting immediately. I want to know few things,

1. Is there any process that has to be done by my spouse's employer

2. Will the visa change affect my CPR process. (CPR appoinment booked)

Your new employer needs to apply for a work visa or work permit (if your profession allows you to work on dependent visa).   You need to check that with them.   One very important advice, do NOT start working without a valid work visa or work permit in your hand  (applying for it doesn't matter) - LMRA is doing a lot of inspections nowadays and many people on these forums have faced fined or deportations for doing exactly that.

Thanks for a sincere advice i will definitely follow that, I have self sponsored visa for 10 years will my employment visa effect my ss 10 years, if i resign will my employment visa revert back to ss.

There is no revert.   You have to CANCEL your SS visa to get an employment visa.  If you resign, you have to apply AGAIN for the SS visa.
