Rental information for Barcelona

I'm curious if there is rental information for Barcelona in the forum somewhere? I'm moving in September and wondering what the standards are. I.e. Do I have to put down security deposit plus first and last month's rent (as is common in US)? Or, does it vary landlord to landlord? If you have any sense of this or can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful!

Yes, you have to put down a security deposit down, it's a common practice all over Europe, it does vary with the Landlord on how much. In some cases it can be as much as 3 months rent + 1st month.
