Is it hard to find a job in Mauritius ?

@johanoosthuizen, it has been a long time since I worked in Mauritius but now I will find it impossible to find a job.  This is because my current career field just does not exist in Mauritius.  I know this because I visit the island often.

Have you been to Mauritius to explore where you can contribute?

Have you also read the guide on the site concerning finding a job?

@Pablo.   No i have not been to Mauritius but really looking to make a shift in my career and living lifestyle .  do you perhaps have any links that i can try out, it can be in something similar or so,  as im willing to learn new things as well .   thanks Johan

@johan, @tookays is correct.  The only way that you can ascertain that Mauritius is right for you is to come and see for yourself.  There are definitely opportunities either with the locals or the numerous expats who have resettled there - but you will only be able to find out about those by having feet on the ground....

You can combine your job search with a little R&R - which is also part of the local culture.
