Family reunification residency permit renewal

Post new topic

RSSS

Hello,

I have submitted the family reunification permit renewal at the municipality since almost 3 months. I have contacted the IBZ to get an update on the status of the file. They told me that they have not received anything from the municipality. I contacted the municipality after that, they said that they have already sent the file at the moment I applied.

I am a bit stuck at this moment, anyone been in a similar situation before? any idea or suggestion on what to do next?

Thank you in advance!

@RSSS

It takes 6 months . First three months they don't look at your file , they only do,  on the 5th month. I am in the Same situation , i only give my file end of the 3rd month.

Thank you for the reply. the issue that I am facing is that the IBZ are saying that the file is not even yet in their system as if they have not received anything from the municipality and I am afraid that I might have lost 3 months waiting for nothing

@RSSS I am also in the same situation , submitted my family's document for renewal since April and up till now the commune keeps saying they have not received any update from immigration. Quick question which number did you call to get ahold of ibz ?
