Visa for more than 90 days for UK citizens

gmtmss

Hi

My husband and I would like to be able to move to Crete, he will be retired and I will, after a lovely break, be looking for some work.

We are trying to find out how easy (or difficult) it is to actually move there. Looking on the internet is very difficult as there is so much information you don't know quite what to make of it.

I understand that since Brexit we can only visit for 90 days? Does anyone know if you can get a visa to visit for a year so we can look around at where we would like to settle?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Tina

Hello and welcome on board, Tina !

I would suggest that you contact the Greece embassy in UK : https://www.mfa.gr/uk/en/the-embassy/

Try to enquire about the D- Visa : How to obtain a resident permit in Greece
