We are looking for a serious lawyer who speaks French or English

We are French. We first arrived in Panama about 3 years ago. We have been living in Panama City for 18 months. Everything has always gone well. But unfortunately, for a few months, we have been facing a problem with a neighbor that we have not been able to resolve despite all our amicable efforts. Recently, the situation has worsened.

We are learning Spanish but we don't speak it yet, and understand it very little.

This is why we cannot defend ourselves against the situation we are currently experiencing.

We need to be accompanied by a serious, trustworthy, humane lawyer, with reasonable fees, specialized in criminal law and preferably speaking French, or even English.

Thanks a lot for your answers

Hello and welcome !

While waiting for members recommendations, try contacting lawyers listed on the embassy's website for enquiries : https://pa.ambafrance.org/Liste-de-notoriete-d-avocats

Thank you very much for your time. I consulted the list and tried to find out on the Internet if there were any that were specialised and had good reviews. Unfortunately, it's very difficult, if not impossible, to identify them. It would be great if someone could recommend a lawyer to me. It would be a great help, I'd feel confident and it would be a great relief.

Yes I understand... try posting on the french speaking forum (in french) : https://www.expat.com/forum/viewforum.php?id=4095

French expats living in Panama City might know a reliable professional.

Thank you again for your support. I'm following your advice. I've just posted a message on the French site. It would be a relief to receive a reply.

@Ziggypom I would fit the profile, but I'm not an attorney in Panama.  I'll be happy to recommend a Panamanian lawyer who speaks French and English. I'm also a licensed broker and a certified translator (Spanish/English and French, ma langue maternelle).
