Hi there Expat forum,
Posting this here as I can't find any information on the topic online. I'm working in hospitality on a set contract (80%). On a couple of occasions now, I have been sent home early from work on the basis that it's not been busy enough. Even though everyone that's ever worked in service knows that there is always something to do. It's not like I've been standing around.
For instance I've been scheduled to work from 8-16, and get sent home already at 13. Thus losing 3 hours of work.
Is this really correct/legal if I don't approve of it? I can add that my company is enrolled with L-gav.
