Immigration lawyer services and Mukhtar

We are retiring to Cyprus. My partner has an EU passport and I have a UK passport. We hope to get 2 yellow slips based on the fact that we have been cohabiting for a few years.

All our documents are gathered according to the list issued by the Immigration department.

So do we need an Immigration lawyer?

Do most expats employ such services?

What does the immigration lawyer do that helps the visa application?

Also the Mukhtar in Larnaca- I cannot find an email address so I can book an appointment with him.....Do you know where I can find this information?? This is to obtain a certificate of harmonious cohabitation from the Mukhtar.

Go to the local council office for the area you live and if the mukhtar is not there you normally leave the docs for them to sign and they call when done. Tala have done that for me and have never charged
