I don't know any of the vendors in the area, but I strongly recommend finding a single company to design, build, and maintain your pool! We had the same company who built our home build our pool. They were outside their area of expertise and made many mistakes that had to be corrected later. Much of the equipment they selected wasn't the right fit for our pool, didn't have parts available, or no one knew how to maintain it.

We quickly learned that we needed to go to our pool servicing company for all repairs and replacements. This was costly - particularly when we had to replace the chlorinator for our saltwater pool because the electrolysis cells for the brand our builder installed could not be found anywhere in the world!

Two other tips:

1) Buy a variable-speed pump. It will cost a bit more upfront, but it is much cheaper to operate! Ours can run 24/7 at a lower speed and use the same amount of electricity that our old pump used in just 6 hours a day.

2) If you choose to heat your pool (a must even down here if you want to use it year-round), invest in a heat pump! It is so much more efficient, especially if you pair it with a variable-speed pump.
