I have a job offer from reunion island and i live in Mauritius. I have a friend there and he told me i can stay at his place. I want to know what i will have to do now to be able to work in reunion island.

Did you sign a contract with your employer ? He can contact the prefecture to enquire about formalities.
You need an autorisation de travail. You can also contact the French embassy in Mauritius so that they can guide you : https://mu.ambafrance.org/
