Saudi council membership issue

Deal All, I'm an electrical power engineer(2023) and have nebosh igc certification

I'm on a technician visa in saudi because of the requirement of 5 years for engineering visa.

I did temporary membership but when now I'm trying to change it to permanent and i uploaded my degree and mark sheet, saudi council is asking 5 years experience letter attested by ministry of Commerce!

Can an engineer not legal on even technician visa!

I'm currently working in a company but really really stressed by this because my second iqama renewal is near and it couldn't be possible without membership of saudi council.

Please if someone could help.....

As far as I know minimum 5 years experience as a engineer is must. As per labor law u cannot perform duties of engineer having technician trade on residence permit.

But I'm performing a safety job not engineering job and i have valid certification for it too!

Then please change ur profession to your trade EHSS as per your certification, profession must be changed while ur membership is active,

Once it is expired you will not be able to change your profession.

Take ur decision as early as possible please as u don't have option to change ur profession to engineer.

Align with your company HR before selecting or changing your iqama trade.
