Nomad Visa Processing Time Houston Consulate?

seriouscatsoserious

Anyone here have direct experiences with the Houston consulate? I'm about 3 weeks out from submitting the goods and have yet to hear anything back. I'm confident that I've supplied adequate documentation as I went back and forth with them (much to their chagrin) several times before submitting final copies.

I'm feeling a bit anxious because I have a somewhat spotty record dating back since 2009. Primarily traffic violations, though I did get arrested once for resisting arrest almost 15 years ago (was not charged) and have 2 DUIs 8 years ago.

I was told early in my emails with them that it shouldn't bar me for getting a visa, but, they were somewhat curt in later emails so I'm unsure.

Anyone got a nomad visa with these types of charges?

Months ago, this person above "Ashley Johnson" spammed me with exactly the same message in private, so I would suggest ignoring any messages from them. It's probably the lawyer herself lol

Poor effort, Giselle. Why should people trust you with their legal processes?

"Ashley" also told me she is on the 3rd year of their nomad visa, but I also couldn't find any proof about that. Note that all immigration information is public in Brazil, including if someone else applied in their name.
