Leaving Egypt with an expired visa December 2024

Hi everyone,

Couldn’t find any up-to-date information regarding leaving Egypt with an expired visa. My visa hasn’t expired much (10days) but I was wondering if there is anyone in the forum that has experience or heard stories from people leaving the country with an expired visa around November/December 2024 and what they had to go through.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve been told that there is still a grace period in place of 13 days or so.

It depends when you're planning to leave the country is before the 13 days grace period or after it

Well, about the grace period, that’s just what I’ve been told 😊. Not sure if it’s still in effect right now.

That’s what I’m trying to find out here whether others have experienced or heard current news.

I suppose to fly out after the 13th day

After 13 days for sure it'll be expired don't depend on penalty lows changes quickly

It's better to extend your tourist visa

Stamped rental contract

Exchange 150 usd at bank misr and get a receipt by your name and passport number

Two photocopies of your passport and your entry satmp
