Greetings. I have a question my work visa expired 12th December 2024.

I have a new sponsor who is ready to sponsor my new visa under his company.

When i submitted my passport to him he is saying he is unable to process my visa during this time due to LRMA new changes on Grace period. He is saying i have to wait until 12th January then i do visa extension then its when i will be able to get my visa processed. But for now i have to wait for the 30 days from December 12th to January 12th

Then do visa extension after that new visa can be applied. N.B At the monment even visa extension is not eligible though the system is showing expired visa.

I need your take on this, is it the current situation in Bahrain !!!! Thank you

Hi every incase you have the same issue.

Go to your old sponsor and request for cancellation certificate.

Then bring the cancellation certificate to your new sponsor he or she will attach it to the other documents for the new visa application.

Then it will work out.
