I flew into PVR dozens of times, same with friends and family, never a problem . Did someone tell you it's a problem there ?

xsz123

@famouskate100 yes as it happened to me. I am looking for suggestions from other victims

I am sorry that happened to you. PVR is not known for this, but of course, luggage can be stolen anywhere. Did you actually see your luggage? If not, it's possible that it never made it to PVR. Do you have evidence it was stolen, rather than lost? If it's gone for good, I hope you were compensated, and that you didn't lose anything of great value.

I did not lose my luggage. Someone opened it and removed some of its contents.

I see. You received your luggage in PVR, with items missing? This could have happened anywhere, including the departing airport. It could also have happened at PVR, no way to know for sure. I am sorry your items are gone. You could lock your suitcase, and not have valuables in it. I have never heard of this being a problem at PVR.

I have heard of this happening. We had the carryon luggage with as all the way to the plane. It was then put into the cargo hold and came off the carousel amongst the first luggage to arrive.

I see.  I am sorry for your bad experience .

It could be any of the ground crew that puts your luggage on the plane where you left.

I used to be a flight attendant and this is a common problem at many airports.  Lock your bags and can stop that problem.  Better safe than sorry!

Sorry for your loss however.
