im moving from us to Nairobi in August and looking for good gastroenterology practice for management of ulcerative colitis. I’m currently on IV entiviyo every 6 weeks and would like to ensure that is viable long term treatment plan

Hi, There are several gastroenterologists listed, with reviews. Unfortunately, I would not be able to personally recommend one.

There may, however be difficulty in sourcing Entiviyo. A quick search indicates that it may be available as a 300mg injection at a cost of approximately $6000 - 7000. There was no indication that the powder for IV is available. You should also be aware that there are often issues with fake medication, so it would be advisable to bring a supply with you, or determine whether an alternative treatment and a different diet (less ultra processed food, particularly in the local Kenyan diet) would help.
